Why i do it, and what i do here at LOUD DEMOCRACY?
Democracy has never been more fragile in recent years, than it is right now. The influence of big money and social media, is corrupting the purity of true democracy, at an increasingly alarming rate. We see attempts to overtake free democracies by totalitarian states, and an increasing tendency to attempt to increase executive powers in some nations, thereby removing the ability for citizens to counteract or challenge executive action.
A session with me as a keynote speaker, will be me making it all about the audience. We will be exploring what democracy means to them, and explore why they are powerful voices in their community. Several scenarios will be explored, and the audience will get to feel the thrill of an active democracy in action, where change is never far out of reach.
